Motel 6 Tucson, AZ- Downtown

Best motel 6 I've ever stayed at. The only thing I didn't like was the difficulty making a left turn on to the main road. Very quiet and clean, no scary people hanging around like at other locations.

The rooms were clean and the bed and other amenities were great. The service was extremely friendly and helpful.

Why I keep going back? The location is convenient for me. I love my dogs, and they don't turned away animals, they treating them as a family, like us the owner do. This is why love this place so much. However, if the towels should upgrade a little, that's will be awesome. I put 4 stars on the service, because "smiles" from the front desk attendants would be nice, at least once in while. But looking like that, you don't know if they want to talk to you or not. Other than that Motel 6 I love staying with you.

This place for the price point was a decent deal. The rooms are old out dated and need a lot work. The ceiling above the vanity sink was damaged and not repair. The paint in the corner was bubbled from water damage and had black colored mold. The shower and tub combo had long hair all over the walls. You can tell this room had not been properly cleaned or maintaine and far subpar for a motel6. I know the hotel brand very well and this one was seriously lacking. They did not had a microwave in room like most hotels at the same price point. The staff was friendly. My cable was not working, so had maintenance come look at it. He did not know anything about cable boxes. The card for the cable box was slightly pulled out. I took it out and reinserted it and the cable was fine after that. It was a very simple fix.

We called ahead for the room and the gentleman making the reservation was great, he found us a room we needed and secured it for us...(first floor, ADA, king sized bed). The room is a good size, the bathroom is easy to access. The only thing is there's a tub, not a walk in shower.

Service is excellent, clean comfortable rooms. Pet friendly and the amenities are tasteful and fulfilling. Waffle house in walking distance.

Considering the price, would definitely recommend. Room was clean and service was quick and pleasant. Only gripe would be if the fact that the hotel is next to the highway would bother you.

The staff is what really makes this place. They are very accommodating and helpful. The rooms were clean and nice enough. Great deal on a traveling budget. Located right off the freeway which made it convenient to hit the highway early and head for the Mexican border. Will stay there again on our way home to the US in 3 months.
